When you click to access any of the College Wild Parties content it will open a new window that features the 12 latest updates. There are more than 120 episodes so far and they also post images from the next two updates to let you know when to come back. Each scene has a picture gallery and video clips and they load on separate pages. Click a link and you’ll be whisked away to a content page. The image galleries tend to focus on the ladies, as you’d expect. You’ll see pictures of the hottest chicks at the party and you’ll watch as they get progressively liquored up. Eventually they get to the point where someone is ready to have fun and that’s when things really liven up. The girls remove their clothes and one of the guys is brave enough to make a move on a lady. The pictures are medium resolution at 800px and while they could be a little higher quality it’s not a huge complaint. It would have been nice if they had cut a few of the images though. I’ve seen more than a few shots where the girls have their eyes closed. The videos are a different story. In April 2007 they made the switch to HD, and all additions from that point forward are shot in HD and feature a myriad of viewing options. The quality levels go like this: HD, T1, broadband, DSL or dial up. You can watch individual clips or just queue up the full scene and enjoy. Before the switch to HD the options were not as good but it wasn’t as bad as you might imagine. You could choose from 56k, DSL or broadband speed and there were two resolutions (320x240 and 640x480). The high resolution broadband clips looked good, and they still do for that matter. The trouble with College Wild Parties is that most of the content isn’t available for download. Everything before the switch to HD is streaming only and while it looks good there’s just no excuse for that nowadays. Furthermore, they could have gone back and retroactively made the content downloadable – other sites have done it – and they chose not to. The HD content is supposed to be downloadable but at this point the majority of the scenes are not and all it says is that they expect to have the episode available for download in 30 days. How long has that been there though? Obviously I’m annoyed with the video options, mostly because that’s the point of joining this site. However, I think the content might very well be worth the trouble of having to deal with streaming only. There aren’t many sites that do this kind of party content well so if you’re really into it this is among the best out there. Plus, they offer you access to more than 40 reality sites when you join one. However, all the sites in the network suffer the same video problems. ConclusionCollege Wild Parties is a great example of the party sex genre. They do it better than most sites, featuring hot chicks and sex scenes that take place in front of the entire party. None of it feels staged, even though there’s almost certainly an element of that. When the parties go back to a private room it feels more like a porn scene, but that doesn’t happen in every case. The only problem I have with this site is the video offerings. The majority of the scenes can’t be downloaded and most of those that you’re supposed to be able to download are currently labeled “not available.” If that frustration of mine doesn’t bother you then this is a winner.
